Using PC & A/V Technologies

The Tutor Table & Track System has been specifically designed for use of computers and audio-visual technologies. Basic tables are sized to accommodate VDT's, PC's and overhead projectors, while the basic track components can accommodate slide projectors, VCR'S, and video monitors.

Three types of projection screens are also standard in the system.

Wire & Cable Management

A run of Tutor Tables, in any layout configuration, can accept electrical wiring and data cabling from a single entry point. Pathways permit wires and cables to pass from table to table in a variety of options.

The basic table has wire clips attached on the underside at either end of the table for small capacity wire/cable applications.

Beam or gallery wire managers can be added to the basic table for large capacity applications.

The beam wire manager has sufficient capacity to accept outlet boxes and/or surge protectors, and communication cabling can be isolated from electric wiring with a communication cable tray.

Electrical Wiring Options/Methods

The Tutor Table system offers optional U.L. listed plug strips to bring power to a single table or a U.L. listed 4 circuit, 8 wire modular wiring system that can power a grouping of tables in any configuration (Note: Tables must be equipped with beam wire managers in order to accept either of these electrical options).

The modular wiring system is available in standardized increments that clip and lay in the table legs and beam wire managers providing a complete concealment of wiring.

A variety of circuit and outlet configurations are available, including the ability to dedicate a circuit for computer use. The illustration below depicts typical installation and pathing of electrical options in the Tutor system. (Refer to Tutor Tecbnical Bulletin #1 for complete details on electrical system options and installation).
