Bilevel Surface Specifications

Product Description: All bilevel surface tables have been designed with a front surface width of 36" or 48" to comfortably support an extended keyboard and mouse (or other digitizing device).

Adjustability Features: Two crank height control worm gear mechanisms (in left and right leg uprights) constructed of one-piece, machined and polished stainless steel, with Acme thread according to DIN 17100. It is vertically mounted to include the 7mm hex head fitting for crank handles. The unit is fitted with sinter metal gear wheel and axial grooved ball bearings and transversed between the two leg mechanisms by a self lubricating bicycle link chain type 25 ASA. Crank handles are positioned either on the left or right (user preference) at a location where the rotation of the handle and user's hand is free from obstructions (alternate surface, side positioned tables, adjacent panels or walls). The adjustment ratio is 6.5 turns per inch. Every crank table is manufactured with our unique Power Exchange Outlet (PXO). At anytime an inexpensive field installed (and replaceable) motor and toggle switch can be easily added. All tables are fitted with 1" leveling glides on the feet.

Maximum Weight Load: All tables are life tested to ANSI BIFMA standards utilizing a static weight load of 400 lb, The final design permits a 5th percentile female worker to adjust the tables from a seated position with a minimum sustained force of less than 5.5 psi with a 175 lb load on bilevel surfaces and 220 lb. load on single surface tables.

Wire Management: All tables contain integrated wire management including grommet outlets through the surface, a horizontal trough containment below the surface and our trademark expanded leg covers which remove for the vertical channeling of cables and the separation by leg of the power and data lines to avoid transmission inteference.
